How to Install fonts-indic software package in Debian 9 (Stretch)

fonts-indic software package provides Meta package to install all Indian language fonts, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install fonts-indic 

fonts-indic is installed in your system.

Make ensure the fonts-indic package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-indic *

You will get with fonts-indic package name, version, architecture and description in a table
